1. TAYLOR TIDY: As if a fifth win in his last six starts wasn’t enough, Danny Taylor got onto the scoresheet with an assist in the Heat’s bounce back performance – a 4-1 win. Taylor made 23 saves on 24 shots in the victory that split the weekend set in Cleveland, and moves the Heat back into top spot in the AHL’s North Division. Taylor has now allowed just a single goal against in six of his last eight starts. WOW!

2. SPECIAL STUFF: With Brett Olson’s empty-net tally with 4.5 seconds remaining the Heat officially went two-for-five on the power play. The penalty kill finished a perfect five-for-five making the special teams match-up a one-sided affair. The Heat have scored power play goals in each of their last six wins. Captain Obvious Comment of the Night: “Seems like a key to success”!

3. LOUDNESS OF THE LAMB: Brady Lamb joined Max Reinhart and Ben Street as multi-point players in the win. The two-assist game is the first multi-point game of the rookie defender’s professional career. While he’s been banging bodies all season, the former Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs has looked much more comfortable in his surroundings of late.
